Level 1

Develop a theoretical understanding of Eddy Current testing and inspection of welds, as well as a foundation understanding on how to apply this method to weld testing. 

Level 2

Strengthen your knowledge in methodology and techniques in Eddy Current testing for crack detection, welds, coating measurements, tubes, conductivity and corrosion.

Level 3

Gain specialised knowledge in the method and techniques of Eddy Current testing across a range of applications, including procedure writing and complex problem solving.

Course Overview

The Level 1 course focuses on weld testing, providing the foundation knowledge of Eddy Current testing and inspection of welds.  

In Level 2, you will cover a broader range of applications and cover the method and specific techniques required in crack detection, welds, coating measurements, tubs, conductivity and corrosion.  

The Level 3 course develops a deeper understanding and more specialised  skill level, encompassing in-depth background knowledge, as well as procedure writing and a high level of problem solving.

Eddy Current testing is a widely applicable testing method used across a range of industries, including aviation, mining, engineering, maintenance and more. Private training courses are also available and can be customised to specific business and industry requirements.

Learning Outcome

Level 1

Upon completion of the Level 1 course, you will have developed a foundation knowledge in Eddy Current weld testing. You will have a theoretical understanding of the method and will be able to work effectively under instruction.

Level 2

Upon completion of Level 2, you will be adept in Eddy Current testing techniques and able to problem solve, work independently and sign reports.

Level 3

Upon completion of the Level 3 course, you will have an in-depth, wide knowledge of Eddy Current testing techniques. You will be able to write procedures, develop techniques, assess and ensure compliance, and apply complex problem solving within and outside of procedures.
