COURSES OFFERED

ATTAR runs training courses in the following non-destructive testing techniques and related subjects:

Courses

Our courses are designed to meet the requirements of AS 3998/ISO 9712 Non-destructive testing - Qualification and certification of personnel, Levels 1, 2 and 3, where applicable.
The Australian Institute for Non-Destructive Testing accepts them as meeting the training requirements for certification to AS 3998.
They also meet the requirements of AS 3669 Non-destructive testing - Qualifications and registration of personnel - Aerospace.
Training requirements for Certification under ASNT SNT-TC-1A or CP189, where applicable, are also met by attendance at the courses.
We also run three day Hands on Introduction to NDT courses that are designed to give engineers, quality managers, technicians, etc, a broad appreciation of the application and limitations of the major NDT techniques.  

Customised in-house training courses are also available for specific inspections, such as use of magnetic particle benches, yokes, fluorescent liquid penetrant inspection.

Advanced NDT training is available for specialised applications.

Exams

ATTAR is an AINDT accredited examination centre and offers AINDT examinations at the end of each AS3998/ISO9712 course.
Exam costs are included in course fees.

HOW TO ENROL

Confirm Vacancies

Ring ATTAR to confirm there are vacancies on your selected course.

Send Enrolment Form

Fax, email (training@attar.com.au) or mail your fully completed enrolment form & non-refundable deposit of $220.00 (Cheque, EFT or Credit Card accepted).

Submission of an enrolment form and deposit does not guarantee an enrolment.

Places on each course are limited so enrolments are processed in order of receipt until each course is full. Verbal enrolments will not be accepted.

If your company issues Purchase Orders, please include a copy with your enrolment form.

Balance of Fees

The balance of all course fees must be paid at least 14 days prior to course commencement.
If the balance of fees has not been paid in accordance with ATTAR terms and conditions, your enrolment on the course may be cancelled.

Confirmation of Enrolment

ATTAR will confirm enrolments by fax, email or letter.
Confirmation of Enrolment Notices includes details on Course Location, Training Hours & Equipment Required.

Students are required to supply a copy of their Confirmation of Enrolment Notice and Photo ID during registration on Day 1 of the Course.

What If I Need To Withdraw From A Course?
Cancellation and Transfer policy (Summary):

For a refund of fees (less non-refundable deposit) all cancellations or transfer requests must be received in writing no less than 14 days prior to course commencement.
Any cancellations or transfer requests received after this date will result in forfeiture of all fees paid.
If ATTAR does not proceed with a course, all monies paid will be refunded in full.
